Educational Qualification –

The candidates need to follow the educational qualification so as to apply for SSC CGL Application Form. Applicant need to know about SSC CGL 2018 Eligibility mentioned below.

Compiler Post The applicant should have completed a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics or Economics or Statistics from any discipline or recognized University or Elective Subject.
Statistical Investigator Grade II Post The applicant should have passed Bachelor Degree in Statistics from any discipline or recognized University OR Bachelor Degree in Commerce with statistics during of Graduation as Elective Subject or supplementary. OR Bachelor Degree in Economics with statistics during Graduation as Elective Subject or supplementary.
OR Bachelor Degree in Mathematics with statistics during Graduation as Elective Subject or supplementary.
Assistants Posts Computer Proficiency with Graduation in any stream
All other Posts Graduation in any stream

Note:

  • Candidates must be obtained Degree from Open University or from Distance Learning studied with recognized university under UGC.
  • The candidates must be obtained degree as on 01-01-2017. Applicant must note that degree obtained after this date will be not valid for SSC CGL 2018.

Age Limitation under the SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria –

Physical Fitness required for SSC Eligibility Criteria 2018 –

Applicants who are going to appear for exam shall check Physical Standards for Inspector (Preventive Officer/Central Excise/Examiner) as followed below:

Sex Height Chest Weight
For Male Applicant 157.5 cm height Chest should be 81 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion. Note: The Gorkhas, Garhwali, Assamese and applicants of Scheduled Tribes are having relaxation of 5 cm.         –
For Female Applicant 152 cm height shall be relaxed by 2.5 cm Weight should be 48 kgs. Note: The Gorkhas, Garhwali, Assamese and applicants of Scheduled Tribes are having relaxation of 2 Kgs.

Physical Standards for Sub-Inspector in CBI

The applicants must check their physical standard required for SI in CBI according to SSC CGL 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

For Male Applicant The height should not be less than 165 cms for General category applicant.
Height can be relaxed for Tribal and Hill applicant of 5 cms
Required minimum 76 cms With expansion.
  •  Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
  • Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
  • Eye sight (with or without glasses)
For Female Applicant 150 cms. Same

Standards for Physical Test

The applicant should know the Physical Standards as per Physical Test as follows:

Sex (Male/Female) Walking Cycling
For Male 1600 meters in 15 mins. 8 kms in 30 mins.
For Female 1000 meters in 15 mins. 3 Kms in 25 mins.
