GATE 2018: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is being conducted by seven IITs i.e. Roorkee, Bombay, Madras, Delhi, Kharagpur, Guwahati and Kanpur) and IISC. What is NEW in GATE 2018 ?
GATE for International Students: GATE 2018 examination should be conducted for international aspirants in United Arab Emirates (U.A.E), Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Singapore and Nepal.
GATE 2018 Exam Centres: Gorakhpur (IIT Kanpur Zone), Burdwan (IIT Guwahati Zone) and Dibrugarh (IIT Guwahati Zone) have been added as new authority.
New Paper: The XE paper have been added in new section on Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (Section H). XE paper has increased to eight (AH).
GATE 2018 Notification
GATE 2018 Notification: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2018 examination for the candidates searching admission to M.Tech/M.E offered under various IITs. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are issued for academic year 2018. GATE Application Form Correction
The applicants who have mistakes in the application form follow the below points:
Candidates can make correction in application form during the period from 15th November – 26th November (11:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
- Now the examination correction process is over.
- Changes are done as per Category, City and Gender.
- The correction are made through online mode only.
- Note there will be no challan payment will be accepted.
- There will be no changes made in GATE Paper.
The payment for correction will be made through online only. NO challan payment will be accepted. Below are the mentioned fees:
- For any changes in examination city is Rs. 400/-.
- For any changes from SC/ST to General/OBC is Rs.750/-.
- For any changes from PwD to Non-PwD is Rs. 750/.
- For any changes from Female to Male/Others is Rs.750/-.
GATE 2018 Registration
- GATE application form will be released on 1st September, 2017.
- The last date for GATE 2018 Applications over on 10th October 2017 (11:00 A.M).
- The last date for online registration was extended till 10th October, 2017.
- GATE Registration 2018 can be made through online mode only.
- Students has to fill all their personal details online.
- Aspirants can complete their registration process through GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).
- Candidates can upload the certificate of scanned documents along with photograph.
- The application fee payment can be paid via net banking or debit card.

GATE 2018 Syllabus

GATE 2018 Admit Card
Admit Card can be downloaded from GATE portal. It will be issued through the 5th January 2016. To download GATE admit card must enter the GOAPS enrollment ID and password. Also carry admit card along with identity proof in examination hall.
GATE 2018 Answer Key
The answer key will be available after the examination is over. The students can match their answers along with official answers. Also can go through the answer key of GATE 2018 provided here.
GATE 2018 Cut-off
The candidates required to qualify are the minimum cutoffmarks for the examination. The cut off of GATE 2018 are the minimum and maximum cutoffmarks category wise and state wise can be downloaded through official website.
GATE 2018 Result
The result of GATE 2018 will be issued under IITs after the few days of examination commencement till 27th March 2018. After the result is declared candidates can know the score card as per GOAPS portal.
The counselling of the GATE are held by CCMT. The candidates allotted will be allowed to take admission to M.Tech/ME as per their section in counselling and provisional list.
